A friend of mine is looking to pick one up from the Portland boat show and is curious about the ski, wakeboard, and surf wake as well as overall performance. What kind of weight are you using, How does it run loaded down, Single axle trailer sufficient, etc.
Its his first inboard and he's buying it pretty stripped down. He's just getting into wake sports, so he's no pro my any means. Any input or opinions would be great.
Any alternatives on new V-drives price wise under 35k are welcome as well.

In the wake world spirit don't hold back!!

Great boat, I bought an 2006 outback V at the show 2 years ago and have no complaints, added the gravity III ballast, tower speakers last year, the wake is great for boarding and just a small bump for skiing, I couldn’t have gone wrong for the price and warranty, the guys at AWS are really great people to work with if you buy from them, nothing but good stuff to say about the crew there.

the wake with all three bags full.

Awesome looking boat Ken. Seeing pics like these, makes me second guess myself if i like the vRide or this better. The colors and lines on your boat sure look amazing. Really stylish looking boat.

One question: That the Rad-a-cage tower, right? How easily does that fold down? Is it something you could do yourself?

If you had to do it everytime you went in or out would it drive you insane??
(i have a regular dock, with a lift. only 9.5ft clearance)

The tower folds down in the front real easy, I do it myself, its easy putting it up, takes about 5 min to do, not that big of a deal, when its down the highest point is like 7'

As Ken indicated the tower folds really easily and I do it by myself everytime we use the boat. I keep our '05 Mobius LSV (same as the Outback LSV) in the garage so my tower gets put up and taken down a lot every summer.
