Just came across this photo on the Alliance site. Looks like Rusty is getting his own pro model graphic that will be available at Mastercraft dealers across the countryUpload

thats awesome, how many do you think they will realistically produce?
Old     (redlinewatersports)      Join Date: Sep 2006       11-26-2007, 1:17 PM Reply
The production of the boat is the same, no matter if it's a pro rider's boat or Joe Nobody's boat. The vinyl wrap is something that is added at the dealership to customize the look of the boat. If you've got the money to do it, it'll no doubt make your boat stand out from all the rest!
Old     (dlwsrider)      Join Date: Apr 2007       11-26-2007, 1:21 PM Reply
Not the production of the boat, the vinyl.

Im just having trouble seeing this on my local lake.

Mastercraft really is putting out some sick graphics this year though.

It's a made to order deal. There are about 15 different vinyl wraps to choose from. Pretty cool and outside the box thinking...

That interior color is fugly, I personally think the boat is a little too much, but he has a very unique boat. To each his own I guess.

Put some 24" spinners on the trailer and that project is done.
Old     (dlwsrider)      Join Date: Apr 2007       11-26-2007, 2:55 PM Reply
Yeah i would have gone with a white interior, that interior isnt doing it for me
Old     (duckguy)      Join Date: Jul 2006       11-26-2007, 3:00 PM Reply
Yes white is most certainly better in this case because a pros boat should be the standard and what is always done and commonly accepted.
Old     (bbr)      Join Date: Apr 2002       11-26-2007, 3:11 PM Reply
I also would have done the interior a different color, but the outside is just plain SICK!!!
Old     (dlwsrider)      Join Date: Apr 2007       11-26-2007, 3:13 PM Reply
Dude, chill, i was just saying that the white would go better with the exterior graphics on the boat.

And nobody is trying to comprimise anyone else's artistic abilities by disagreeing with the color of their boats interior.

Sick, but that would be a pull me over please ticket on Don Pedro or Mclure. Delta has some crazy stuff on it so it could go eather way.

that boat looks sick. i wonder if any other boat companies will start to offer that. i kinda like the interior. its just different from every other boat you see. it'll probably get hot.
Old     (goatroper222000)      Join Date: Dec 2006       11-26-2007, 3:31 PM Reply
Ya, if i had a pro model boat, i would definately not look for new ideas and try to make it recognizeable among the other boats. it would all be the standard..lol. lighten up guys. why have a pro model boat if it isnt any different than the others??? Props rusty. that is a SICK boat!
Old     (mkrueger313)      Join Date: Jan 2007       11-26-2007, 6:05 PM Reply
i love that interior color... it kind of looks like some fine Italian leather in a Ferrari. Very sick, Ive wanted my boat wrapped for a long time.
Old     (aces6692)      Join Date: Nov 2006       11-26-2007, 6:25 PM Reply
that thing is insane, and i agree with mike, the interior gives it the really expensive look, kinda like a bentley or ferrari
Old     (trewblu)      Join Date: Sep 2007       11-26-2007, 7:09 PM Reply
that the best looking boat I ever seen but I can't afford it
Old     (jeff359)      Join Date: Jun 2005       11-26-2007, 7:18 PM Reply
Absolutely tight. I have hated MC graphics over the last couple years. The graffiti graffics sucked ass, and alot of the other stuff was way to bland. That boat rocks

I LOVE the tan interior. Very diffrent, but classy.

I am not a big fan of all the wraps they are puting on boats. Can you wax it? What do you do when it gets a scratch?

Looks cool, but not my cup of tea.

I think the boat is sick.. I also think that the interior is awesome just adds that luxury style to it.

As for raps I believe if it gets scratched you pretty much have to replace the entire thing.. Not to sure if they could replace the section with out it being noticeable..

I have been a fan of all the wraps that have been up out. This one is busy but looks damn good, I bet it will look better with a bunch of blue water around it. Props to Rusty! Interior gets a thumbs up from me...
Old     (wayz)      Join Date: Jun 2005       11-27-2007, 3:39 PM Reply
omg, lmao... that looks lame. there's nothing cool about the graphics. it depreciates the boat.
Old    K.B.C.            11-27-2007, 3:52 PM Reply
the graphics are removable, it's just a wrap so depreciation is a null issue.

I think it looks sweet, too bad it's an MC

Old     (adam_balon)      Join Date: Jul 2003       11-27-2007, 6:58 PM Reply
props to rusty for the boat model. i think those graphics are ugly as hell. looks like a bad pacsun t-shirt. not for me.

08's get folding swim platforms.
Old     (wakedoctor)      Join Date: Dec 2004       11-29-2007, 2:31 PM Reply
I wouldn't put them on my boat but I like it. I think it will be a big head turner on the water. However, the swim platform's brackets on the back of the boat make me grit my teeth if it is not custom. Are they galvanized? Come on MC, a 70K boat and we can't get at least a black powder coat?
Old     (westsidarider)      Join Date: Feb 2003       11-29-2007, 3:45 PM Reply
that boat is dope for sure. its different. even if rusty has normal boat i gaurantee that everyone on his lake knows that boat anywase so its not like hes going to go un-noticed out there.

as far as the wrap goes theres no way its all one peice. there are probably at the very minimum 4-5 pieces. they cant match the curves of the boat in one peice. it would be neer impossible.
Old     (shagman)      Join Date: Sep 2004       11-29-2007, 4:19 PM Reply
you won't even see them when the boat is in the water so what is the big deal? I think they are aluminum by the way, I know for sure they aren't galvanized.
something that strikes me funny is how often I hear that complaint: "This boat costs X amount of dollars and I don't even get....." While I agree that all manufacturers have things that can be improved, or certain items that could be included, every one of those things would just boost the cost of the boat up. then your boat would cost thousands more, and you would find something new to complain about your boat not having.
Old     (shagman)      Join Date: Sep 2004       11-29-2007, 4:22 PM Reply
Jason, the wrap is three pieces, one for each side and one for the back. The skill that goes into getting them on there with no wrinkles or bubbles is impressive to see in person.
Old     (wakedoctor)      Join Date: Dec 2004       11-30-2007, 8:14 AM Reply
Are you serious? I don't keep my boats in the water, and you are darn right I would put in my comment if they put two large galvanized bracket on the exterior of my boat. It doesn't cost an arm and leg to powder coat something. However, aluminum I could handle.

More importantly props to Rusty
