How do I make a blind side surface 180

How do I make a blind side (I think it's called that) surface 180? I tried to do it today. But I can't grab the handle behind my back. It all ended in a blind side face plant instead

you don't even have to pass the handle until you've completed the 180 if you don't want to. Just keep enough weight on the edge that is away from the boat (depending on what side of the wake you're doing it on) so you don't "tip over" so to speak and take an edge crash. After you've completed the 180, you'll have the handle in the small of your back - just grab it with the other hand and you're done.
