1994 DLX Sanger vs. 1994 Prostar 205

Which boat has more room and throws a larger, rampier wake with equal fatsack weight? Which would you get and why?

Since you ride the delta you should know what kind of wakes Sangers are capable of. DLX and V-210 have the same hull from 94-03. Hands down, unweighted, slightly weighted, and heavily weighted, Sanger. To back up my statement search for some Sanger wake pics.

Evan I will agree with you that the Sangers have a very nice wake, BUT the Mastercraft also has a nice wake. In fact I have seen a Prostar 205 direct throw some of the biggest wakes ever.

My suggestion is that since you can not go wrong with either boat, pick the boat that is in better condition. Seeing as how you also work at Ski World you might be better off with a Mastercraft, or are they the ones selling the boat in which case they would rather unload the Sanger faster. Both boats have great wakes and both will have close to equal space inside (NONE!) once fully loaded.

If I was looking at these two boats I would go with the Mastercraft. After all Ski World is right down the highway from me. Sanger??? No idea where a dealership is.

Just sold my 1999 Sanger DLX. It threw a good wake with 500lb fatty in back seat. Best distance to board was about 50 to 55 ft. I was up in a 2002 MB 220 and know for a fact the Sanger had alot better wake. The reason I sold the Sanger was I wanted perfect pass, tower, ballast, open seating, and a perfect wake. I now own 03 SAN.

Eh? 50 to 55 foot? Thats a little short isn't?

Most real folks ride at about 60 to 70 ft.
On a direct drive not designed for wakeboarding only, thats the best part of the wake, true. Most ropes they sell are 60 ft'.
