Here's some pics. Enjoy!

How much are you selling the 2001 for? I just saw your write up, very nice job. I would love to see how that super sport turns out. Are you planning on doing a lot of cosmetic work like paint?

Absolutely beautiful! Wow! How hard is it to regel the boat? When you regelled it is that when you got rid of the original stripe?

Thanks!

Wow, one of the best looking 2001 refurbishing jobs I have seen. Best of luck with the sale, somebody is going to get a great boat.

I'm going to ask $13,000 for it. I hope I find someone who is looking for a 2001. Last year when I sold my Mastercraft, I spent 2 hours explaining to the buyer what he was buying. And for the Super Sport, the only cosmetic thing I'll be doing is wet sanding it and adding the chrome transom decals on each side.

The gel coat work is easy, just time consuming. I sanded the spider cracks down with the DA sander, then filled it back in with a couple layers of gel. Then sanded it all smooth again. After that, I just had it all sprayed white.

GREAT looking 2001. Lots of updates, yet classy as ever. beautiful boat and nice work on the ballast system and gel work. I'm thinking about a few rough spots i could gel on my old girl.

The shaft strut and rudder are two things i wouldn't have had the cajones to tackle. looks like professional work. Someone will have a NICE boat for the summer. Hopefully you can get what you want.

Very similar situation to your and your MC, a buddy redid a 2001 and ended up getting a few thousand less than he was originally asking. hold your price for a while, someone who can appreciate the 2001 will pay every bit of it. There's too many of them for sale for 7000 that need new stringers. good luck with it.

Unbelievable. I love it. The black rope in the rubrail makes it look so much more modern. The tower flows great. The graphics match the boat really well.

Those sacks are plumbed to auto-fill? What size are they?

Where did you get the raised letters on the transom? They are very sharp.

Thanks for the update with more pics. I am glad that you rehabbed the boat and made it look fresh, but you also kept a nice clean and classic look going. Great project, nice execution.

All the answers to your question are in the main post on the2001.com - http://the2001.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=1050

(ordered the transom decal from the local dealer and yes the bags are plumbed for fully automatic empty/fill. Front bag is Pro X Series 580# and rear bag is Pro X series 750#)
