I never saw a roller trailer under a v-drive before, what kind is that?
Old    bocephus            02-27-2006, 5:53 PM Reply
Ooh, watch out for depressions in the hull on that boat if it sets for extended periods of time without use (i.e. winter)

Every boat that I have seen on a roller trailer gets depressions in the hull from the rollers. The rollers apply localized pressure while bunks spread the weight over the entire area. I don't eveything and will be the first to admit that, just watch out! Looks like a pretty nice trailer too.

Are those hubcaps on the trailer????

The boat is sweet. I don't like the trailer though. The rollers were always a pain.

you could make a small fortune on that boat in jamaica

i have absolutely no idea about the boat or the trailer. I just saw it on a site and thought it looked sick so I shared it. I think I'm gonna do a color combo similar to it next year. Btw..I will be sure NOT to get a trailer with rollers on it!!

....and I totally agree with the reg. letters.

Judging by both the trailer and registration that boat is overseas, Australia or New Zealand. They require numbers like that and also the trailers have the wheels a little farther forward than the trailers we have here. I do not know why just an observation.

I think it is a requisite for trailers in other countries to be ugly as sh*t. Just an observation from the pics I always see posted.

I guess we all have our views, at least I'm lucky enough to have seen our Aussie trailers up against some of your so called great trailers on imported boats (Centurion & Supra)& let me tell you our trailers are a far superior product, although I'd question the option of multi roller. I guess you need to see them in real life not just look at photots & make judgements

Ok so maybe not aussie trailers, but moreso the trailers I see boats on in the UK and a few others. They are hideous.

Can you order any malibu with a Titan Tower? I know they come stock with the Illusion. Is the Titan tower a discount?
Old     (showtime)      Join Date: Nov 2005       03-02-2006, 7:47 AM Reply
titan is actually 250.00 more according to my local BU dealer. i asked the same question this past weekend at our boat show... illusion is actually cheaper...

Zach- I have a question on the blue/white VLX pic. The Illusion tower, was the blue on the outside of the tower actually powder-coated ? I've seen them colored but it was the whole tower. That looks more like the blade.

You can order any Malibu with the Titan for an upcharge of $250.00

for 06 you have an option of 2 tone color illusion towers, i think they look sweet
Old     (buguru)      Join Date: Feb 2006       03-02-2006, 9:31 AM Reply
Zach, is that an I-ride with no tower??
Old     (iagainsti)      Join Date: Apr 2004       03-02-2006, 11:48 AM Reply
that 2 tone tower has to be custom work. I just sent the pic to my Bu dealer to get a quote and he has never seen a 2tone before. He called the manufacture and they only do solid colors.
