Fat Sacks on top of my Factory Tanks??

I want to put some more weight in this year, wondering if my factory tanks in the 04 Tige 22v will be srtong enough to hold a sack on top?? Thinking like 3-400 lbs... If not what could I do to strengthen the tanks?? Thanks

fill factory tanks up first for rigidity and then additional sacs should be good to go.. new BU's have same type tanks with warning stickers but we never had any issues.. there are quite a few threads on this, so maybe search a little.. good luck!

Do it the easy way find a couple big guys to sit in the boat. It helps alot, trust me i would know.

Pull tanks, insert very large sacks.

^^ I thought about that but I dont have a ton of time now that it is warm to work on the boat.. Kinda want to go the quickest route possible..

I threw a 400#'r on the stock tank of a Z1 and did not feel it was going to cause a problem.

I don't think you need a ton of time. Fly High makes fittings that would link you up directly to your factory lines.

I redid my 210, everything was fairly simple and it would have taken me less than a day had I not rewired the entire ballast system as I had one fill switch and wanted control over the back ballast for balance.

If you have separate switches for each tank, it's a walk in the park. Call em and I bet they already know what you need.

I tried the piggyback thing, it works but big sacks are the way to go. You also get all that room back for trailering.

I'm going to swap out my factory tank for my 750 fly high. But this weekend I was out and wanted to see it on top and it held the 750 fine. 750 was a bit bigger so it was hanging off the edge.
