Have an 01 super air nautique, stock tanks in the back plus 300lbs
Of gym weights all lineX'd, how should I organize the weights in the boat for surfing? I'll take any other advice you got as far as ropes, boards, lights etc

Probably have a garage sale and get rid of the stock tanks and put the plates back in the gym.. Pick up a couple of #750's or #1100's from Fly high for the rear compartments.

And you're welcome to try to prove me wrong, but I don't think it'll make a good wave on the Port side, so you might just weight down the Starboard side and try that first.

Tougher to throw a good wave on Port but it is very very doable.

I've made great waves on port using a full port wedge plus 200 in lead in the locker with it. Another 200 in lead up in the bow. I have the TE with with stock 300# center tank, I fill that. With two or so people on the port side bench and another up front, the Port wave is huge.

Flip that to starboard and it's even better.

If you're having trouble cleaning the wave up on either side, put more weight up front. These old SAN's love bow weight.
