Dont know if any of you have tried this but it works amazingly. I started the diet on Aug 1st and lost 20 pounds the first month. It's a book a guy wrote while experimenting on himself with different tactics. There are different paths in the book depending on what you want; Rapid weight loss, Rapid muscle growth, or rapid strength gain. I started with the rapid weight loss. Its a great diet for me pretty easy to stick to. 6 days a week you eat meat beans and veggies. Thats it nothing white including dairy. The only dairy you're allowed is cottage cheese. The only fruits allowed are advocados and tomatoes. You eat 4 meals a day, the first within in 1 hour of waking and you must consume a minimum of 30 grams of protein, then the other 3 meals are spaced 4 hours apart and must included 20 grams of protein. You get one off day a week to eat whatever. The only alcohol you are allowed is 2 glasses of dry red wine during the 7 days, but you get whatever you want on your off day. It has worked wonders for me. I'm starting in on his strength training routine now since the diet worked so well, to stay in shape for the off season.

I followed the diet a while back as part of a 3 month biggest looser challenge that my wife and bunch of her friends where doing. At the start I did a hydrostatic (dunk tank) body comp test, then a follow up test 3 months later.

I worked out about 4 to 8 hours a week, stayed pretty close to the diet, lost 30% of my body fat in three month. Upset my wife quite a bit as she did not see any results working with one of the trainers in the sponsoring gym.
