Oil Filter and oil for MC MCX??

Changing the oil in my 04 x2. Does anyone know of an oil filter to get at autozone or advance auto? Also, does anyone know how many quarts it takes? A buddy told me 5 quarts of 15w-40 rotella. Is this right?

Read the filter number off, and go to kragen, they should be able to cross reference it. Probably a PH5 or a ph30

Indmar now reccomends 15w40 for all their motors, so take your pick of brand, and don't be afraid when it says "For diesel engines" on the bottle.

I have tried to search and found alot on Napa Gold #1069 and Wix 51069 do these sound right to anyone?

the factory is the pennsoil pz3. I run the napa gold 1069 which cross references with the pz3. I think it holds slightly more than 5 quarts.

I HAVE A 99 AND USE 15-50 MOBIL 1 SYNTHETIC.

The mobil-1 filter that cross-references the pennzoil PZ-3 is the M1-111, i'm about to toss this onto my Indmar, they're good filters and half the height of the stock one.
