Dash has the button for the shower and heater. Any of you own one able to tell me where they might be located if they are actually installed on my new to me 2003 SAN?
Also it has the factory cd player in it which is dead (only real problem with it actually). Anyone have a model number of a newer Clarion deck that will match up with the driver's remote control by the steering wheel? Or better yet a new model number and remote model number that will replace the factory set since the remote is a little beat down?
I just picked this new to me boat up today. Trying to get it ready for this weekend so if you folks could help me out I would GREATLY appreciate it.
You would see them in the rear compartments if you had them. I just bought a 2001 SAN also I had the same prob with the cd player. I turned it up and boom that was it lol. Checked the breaker and everything. guess it blew a capacitor. The boats have the buttons weither it is installed or no tho, as was the case with mine.
The heater will be a set of pull out flex tubes that are located near the driver's feet. I believe the shower will be a hose in one of the rear ski lockers (maybe driver side?).
The Clarion CMD6 is out now, but I dont think it will work with your current remote. You may need to upgrade to the MW1 or MW2 remote. I have the CMD4 and feel it does the job. It will still be an upgrade from what you have and you should be able to find them dirt cheap. I believe the CMD4 will work with your remote.
guess I need to measure the one that is in there, ordered a new clarion head unit, hope the old one will work, if not i'll measure to see which one will fit
