Im curious what you guys think about UGP stuff. i see reed all over it and it looks pretty cool. im wondering what everyone thinks

I dunno, no offense to anyone I don't see what the big deal is, everyone seems to think UGP is the be all end all when.. I dunno I'm not all that impressed.. maybe I'm missing something...

they have been around for a while, i used to race BMX and they had a pretty big clothing line back in like 97, but i hadnt seen them again since now, but i do like it.

ya, i haven't seen there whole line yet even, they have a 72 page catalog i guess and the website doesn't do it justice at all, im gonna look at some of there new stuff and maybe post some pics when it get here. i talked to some people there and they are way cool. reed loves them same with charlie and lindsey....

mav i used to ride for em in the 80's in bmx, i think they are liked becuase they support the sport from within . No huge add compaign no over exposure, you know what i mean?

yeah, like itch and cory said. they were a pretty big supporter to bmx... brian foster and taj both rode for them i think. if i remember correctly, they were/are based in florida. so i guess getting into the wakeboarding scene was inevitable. it was cool because their shin guards were always my favorite, and my first numberplate was from them.

I used to own a bmx shop. Got to be real good friends with Ron, Dave, and a couple other guys that worked there. They may not have the flashiest stuff or whatever, but they have some real cool designs. Not to mention, they have always had a lot of grassroots kinda stuff going on. Ya gotta support the people who support the sport. Later.

A number of riders in our sport are sponsored by UGP, Charley Patterson, Drew McGuckin, Aaron Reed off the top of my head.

P/S I have a bunch of their cargo shorts, board shorts, T's and hats. Their stuff is pretty cool.
