Lake Pillsbury

I went up To Pillsbury today to help some friends open camp and the water was BUTTER and not a boat insight including mine.

Never seen the countryside green,it's always brown when we go.

WOW! Looks beautiful as always. Pillsbury Sucks though always windy and way too many people and the rangers are jerks. I can not understand why anyone would tow their boat down that awful dirt logging road. It has been awhile since I went there. We were supposed to go there New Years Day but we had a truck float down river which stopped us.

We took the county road and its in really good shape right now. Dont tell anyone!
But the logging road is wiped out.
The lake is full too !

Geez Walt...remember sarcasm? LOL Pillsbury is one of my favorite lakes.

But you need to watch out for all the debris in the water and look at that plant fauna it will eat a boat whole. I have also seen BIG mean fish in that lake.

I'm working on buying a camp at west shore but they dont turn over very often.
