I feel you on the towing thing. I'm fortunate in that I have a 2.5 mile tow to the launch ramp and or my boats already on my bouy but I have taken to removing my lead when I go on long trips across the mountain.

Gonna re-work the existing amp board, yanking the Kicker ZX700.5 and adding two more Exile amps (Xi800.4 & SM600.1) in addition to the Harpoon I have. Some other stuff too possibly, who knows.
