I have a 24ft cuddy cabin that I was planning on putting a 12"momo on, the problem is where. Optimally somewhere on the deck would be best but I don't think that will work without cutting holes in my boat. My question is, how bad do you think it would sound to put the sub down in the cuddy and would you be able to hear it on deck? Echo chamber maybe????
thanks

If you put it in a ported enclosure and mount it so the port can vent to the outside of the deck, you will look good. If you put it below, you will be able to hear it but it will be very very loud in the cabin to play at a decent level up top.

Ty and Doug,
You guys seem to answer all of the stereo questions on here so here is a link to the sub....do you think it will work? The box is custom for the sub but it's not ported. Should I consider a different one? http://www.polkmomo.com/mm12.php

Yes. I think it would work fine. I would not build a new box. Run with the enclosure you have as that is a very strong sub.
