I have been offered an x-10 and a 22v both full spec at the similar prices with the same trade in value for my current boat.

I am torn between the two. I have compared both as far as I can see they look to be on par except for a few aspects.

1) Re-sale value , I think MC has a better re-sale value.
2) the x-10 is available immediately
3) the 22v has a heater
4) 22v looks better , is heavier and uses TAPS2.

The only aspect I couldn't compare was the wake....hope you'all can help as usual!

Thanx

Get a test drive on both boats, that should help you with your decision

Both are great, 22v is a little bit more Wakeboard specific though.

I had a Maristar 210 (Same as X-10). Sold it and bought a 22v. The Tige handles better and doesn't need as much weight to throw a good wake.

My personal opinion is that the 22V has a much better wake (steeper, thicker and more pop). I also love the layout of the 22V and of course that is why I own one. Obviously my opinion is biased.

disclaimer - i own a VLX. IMO the 22V wake is much better and needs less weight, and furthermore the X10 wake won't ever be as nice with any amount of weight.

quality & reliability is a toss-up in my experiences with MCs & Tigés. fit & finish slight edge to MC. the 22V will use more gas.

test drive everything you're considering, if possible. (this may be a problem in S Africa?)
