Just did a major overhaul on the stereo and now have an annoying pop when the stereo is turned off.
Is there a remedy?

Chris

Chris,
it sounds like you have a bad ground somewhere.same thing happened to me.I ran a new ground wire to the back of the deck and attached it to the screw that the support bracket attaches to.

ps.thanks for the gator grip.I cant believe how well it sticks.even under water.

Hey chris: Some Pre Amp's have a adjustable timed delay that as soon as you turn off the Deck it takes a second and then turns off the amps a second later. So it stops the pop.
The Eclipse 21010 EQ/pre Amp has it.
What deck are you running??

Hey Grant,

I knew you'd have some insight. I actually have the Audio Control 4.1i EQ with the Clarion XMD1 deck.
I might try the grounding idea.

Chris

I think the 4.1 has timed turn off.
