DIY WS-420 Install

1. Find location
2. Set Input Gain Main/Aux to 1/3
3. Make sure all 4 eq settings are in the middle
4. Hook up power-ground-remote turn-on
5. Remote turn-on must be hooked to remote turn-on out of your deck to avoid turn on/off pop
6. Must add a relay to the remote turn on lead
7. How wire the Relay: 86 Remote Turn-on-87 12V Constant 85-Ground-30 Out to Amps and EQ
8. Now hook-up all needed RCA’s (make sure power is off)
9. Power everything on to make sure it all works
10. Turn all amps to zero gain
11. If your deck goes to 40 on the volume back it off to 33-35 (to avoid a clipped signal) and turn down the sub and tower volume settings on the WS 420
12. Turn the interior to full volume on the WS 420
13. Go to that amp and set the xover around 80-150 (interior) 60-90 (sub) 90-150 (towers) it all depends. Then bring up the gain until you hear the speaker distort and back it of an 1/8 or so
14. Now turn the interior volume on the WS 420 down all the way and follow step 11 and 12 with the towers and sub volume control on the WS 420. This well insure that you can play your speakers to their max potential.
