My grandma bought this AMC Pacer in 1976 brand new. She has since past and I couldn't let this car leave the family. Although it is known as one of the ugliest cars to be produced I can't help but smile when I see this car. Brings back the memories of my grandma coming over to my parents house as a little kid. It has 76,XXX orginal miles on it. With a fresh battery and some gas it fired up pretty quick after sitting for about 9 years as my grandma had lost her license. I'll have to replace the valve cover seal as it has an oil leak from drying out while sitting and have to send in a bunch of pictures so I can have it registered as a collector's car. Anyway a couple pics!!

Two things...

First - That is sweet! I'd see what you could get for it - might be surprised.

Second - Dammit Granny! Why couldn't you buy an AMX!?!?!?!?

I'm better now...

WOW That this is pretty Sweet. Tell me that the Pacer car is not better looking then a current Nissan JUKE.

Im suprised I haven't seen a DONK version of the Pacer.

But Serious that is a Sweet condition Pacer. Im sure you would be able to get good money for somthing like that. Im sure the skinny jean hipsters (The kind of peeps that wear a beenie on a 100 degree day) would love to rock that ride

You just need a St Bernard to ride in the back of it and you're set!

Have some local college convert it to battery/hybrid/natural gas or something and you'll be famous. Make all Prius owners piss themselves w/jealousy.

Thanks guys. I keep joking about putting some deep dish rims on it but if I put collectors plates on it I have to keep it bone stock. When collectors insurance is $ 250 for the year it kinda makes sense not to do anything even though the side of me that can never have stock anything eats at me. I was thinking something with a matching yellow painted lip and as big as a rim that would fit.lol.

Whatever you do - DO NOT BREAK THE GLASS - those rear windows are incredibly valuable.

Please don't modify/customize that car. You'd wreck it. It's just perfect as it is.

Just think about how cheap that gas was sitting the gas tank. I'm guessing somewhere around $2.25/Gal

Thanks guys! I've been off the site the last few days with the birth of my new baby boy. Got some reall attention here.lol. Love the photoshops, they look awesome.

Andy/John- I won't customize this car in any way. As I said before I want to put Collector's plates on it therefore I can't change anything. It has to stay 100% OG or if I did put other rims on it they would have to be period correct to the 70's.

You still have to put a 401 in it...
