Going to go test a 2000 Tige v21 riders edition with 507 hours on the 350 mercruiser engine this Saturday. They recently replaced the ram to the TAPS system.
What should I pay attention to when on the water? How do these boats accelerate, what should top speed be like, what should I expect in turning, what kind of surf wake can I get from the TAPS system, how is the wake gate supposed to work? The boat has no ballasts so I'll have to buy fat sacks for sure if I buy it but what can the TAPS do without ballasts or sacks? I am mainly wanting to wake surf with this boat. Hopefully it is sufficient enough for that..
Any advice?
