I'm not Catholic but there isn't any point in calling their Church out on this. There are sick people in this world that get involved in all types of organizations. The BSA has done a lot of good in the world and it's sad that the organization will be tarnished because of the bad choices of a few people not reporting these terrible incidences.

Uh, not sure where you've been but the catholic church leadership has been just as complicit in this kind of coverup as the BSA leadership - no different than penn state leadership. I guess there was no point in them being "called out" either?

I don't see where I lumped in the membership of these organizations - unless you count the leaders to represent all members which would be a small organization indeed
