i have a simple panasonic point and shoot and it got pretty wet this weekend...it's been drying in front of the A/C since...anyone else had problems like this??

If you pulled the battery and don't turn it on until after it dries for a couple of days you "should" be fine. It's happened to me before.... a couple of times.

put it in a bag of Rice. The Rice will suck out all the moisture.

I heard microwaving it helps. J/K do NOT microwave it. On the plus side, now you can justify a new D700

my buddys droped there camera and cell phone in the lake. they shaked all the water out of them and put them in the freezer for half a day. pulled them out and they still work perfect today!

it works still...kinda haha...if i leave the battery in, it runs out even if it's not turned on...any other ideas?? should i take it back to best buy and tell em its a POS??
