is there any difference in a wakeboard and a wakeskate to a 4 year old thats just starting to ride? meaning, can I just pop a set of little bindings on a wakeskate for a little one vs spending 200+ dollars on a wakeboard?

depends on the wakeskate, most wakeskates are alot more slick and dont have many grooves/fins so it might be a bit tougher to ride

yeah dude you can do that.....just a bigger fin to put on the bottom of it and you will be fine....great job getting the little one shredding early!!!!

You could even screw a couple shoes that fit to the board, bindings!
