Looks good -

What price range can we expect for the XS650s and the XS-12s?

Any specs for your new drivers?

Boat wasn't stolen, it got broken into while at the dealer getting a new prop put on as MB had a recall on the prop. It had a under construction system in it with all Arc Audio foose amps and a wild subwoofer enclosure that came off the back deck with 4 12's and wrapped in factory vinyl. They stole all the amps and damaged the sub enclosure. So I said to heck with it and just went for more function.

Nick, i kind of of rambled on above but in the system layout you can see there is "Five" 12 inch subs. There is a pair in each back locker. I didn't get any pics becuase the boxes have one down firing and one front firing. So you can't see anything. Planned on 6 but ran out of room.

Ben, send them, i will get them on the site! Read the post about the sound off, one of these days maybe I can get out there and hear it!

Steve, the LED's are a plexi ring with a smd strip. Thanks.

Steve, After owning the tower lights, I cannot recommend them.(dbot5) They rusted after 3 months on the boat and one smoked the wire and caught on fire. And after all of that, they don't even light up anything. I do not know if I will even do tower lights on my next boat. I am thiking that I may just run with the hull lights to light up the surf wave for some night surfing.

Hey Tim -

How do the 4 pairs of XS650 speakers sound on the single Massive 400.4? The XS650 are rated at 100 watts RMS per speaker, right? How do they sound on 50 watts per speaker?

I was thinking of going with 4 XS650 running on a Massive 400.4. Is this too much power?

dude thats sick i love the LED lights. is the boat level when u put it in the water? i usually see boats that have the same number of batteries on one side as the other and they place the amps evenly on each side.
Old     (hudd007)      Join Date: May 2006       05-10-2007, 4:52 PM Reply
WOW. I want that boat. Curious as to how much you are selling it for? Also, I would imagine that by how hot I know Amps can get, that the driver probably has NO hair on his leg and burn marks all over. Does the amps right next to your leg cause an issue or are they far enough under the side to not Michael Jackson anybody?

Tim that boat is TIGHT. Good luck with the sale, i do have to also side with you on the tower lights. If you know anything about lighting, light diffusion and lighting patterns - lights at the top of a boat tower are worthless for many reasons. Plus most of the tower lights are just 55W driving lights - these things draw a bunch of current at 12V DC and can easily melt down....

Tim your boat is tight as shiaaaait, what kind of racks are those, been looking for something like that (tons of boards with no room for extra racks ya know), gots some of dem speaks already (super loud)

Ewing, The 12 inch subs weigh a little over 15 pounds! Kinetik are the best batteries in the world.

Leo, It's a RZ4! (still working on the color combo)

Stu, I love it. That is too funny!

David, that amp would be perfect. These speakers can handle a ton of power. 50 watts is OK but you are correct on going with the rms amount.

Michael, 4 of the batteries are on the left with the other on the right and all the amps on the right. We weighed everything and it is dead on and level in the water.

Sean, e mail me at twhite@wetsounds.com Asking $64,995 with everything. Amps are far enough out of the way that you don't hit em.

CPB, they are racks from dbot5 but same with the lights. I cannot recomend them. The surf rack is too big and will not hold anything but a big fat landlock or something. All of the newer style boards or skim boards will fly out. I have almost lost one. They actually fit better in the wake rack. So they surf racks are worthless on this rack. I am not sure how I will do it on my next boat as I want a rack with 2 boards and a surf for both sides. But these do not function so I will keep searching. Let me know if you find anything that really works.

Tim, don't know what your spending limits are but the z5 cargo rack will fit that bill. Can hold 2-3 surfboards.

Have you seen the RZ2 in austin that has the wrap on it?

I'll take a look, thanks.

Yeah, Dave's boat, under360 with the snow camo. Looks pretty sick. I am still throwing ideas around. I really liked it.

But I think I am going to go even more over the top. Heck, why not!
