Wakeboard Tower

The tower on my boat doesn't break down (which makes it unable) for me to store my boat in garage with tower on or even when tilted back. I have though about checking into have the tower "cut" for a breakdown.. Any suggestions or has anyone had this done to a tower they have? Thx

What type of boat and tower do you have? You can modify towers, as they're just metal, without much trouble but you need to ensure you have the work well thought through. It might be easier to replace the tower or find another solution.
How tall is the opening for your garage door?

M/C Boat. I am not sure the tower brand.. It was already on the boat when I purchased it. I have even tried tilting tower back, but it still will not clear (when you tilt it back the front of the tower raises up to high to clear.. I thought about just getting a storage building during the summer months?? I really like the tower on it.. The thought in the back of my mind of modifying the tower on it, but then the possibility of it "ratteling" going down the lake??

I modified mine to collapse. As Art said, it took a lot of drawing and "critical thinking" - when you stare at the tower in between trips to the fridge. Mine involved replacing the tower feet and mounting points for the front legs and thats about it.

Sorry.. Haven't got pic loaded.. I think I have found someone hear where i live that can modify tower.. Does anyone know where you can get the wakeboard joints?
