I've been looking at a 1994 mastercraft prostar 205 with a corvette lt-1 motor. However, I haven't seen the boat in person yet. I haven't been able to ask the seller if the boat is EFI. Please let me know if the motor is EFI or not.

If it is a real Corvette engine it should be EFI. All Vettes have had EFI for the last 20 years

I have a '95 Maristar w/ LT-1 and it is EFI. Good luck.

It is EFI and it is also a semi-closed cooling system. It has a raw water intake to cool the exhaust manifolds, but the engine block itself is cooled by an internal antifreeze system like your car. Instead of a radiator however, it has another cooler (like your transmission cooler) that works with the raw water intake.

The system works fine, but it will look different than a normal raw water cooled system.

MasterCrafts The LT1 does not have closed cooled anything. Great Engine and yes it is EFI

I have the LT1 in my tow vehicle. :-) It has no problem hauling the car and the boat around, should do well with just a boat to push! ;) Kick ass motor! Like Kevin said, it is EFI. Multi-port at that.

LT1's were only put into Corvettes and Camaros. Either you did an engine swap or your tow vehicale is a sports car.

My brother in law had the red version and it was a nice boat. the only complaint i had with it was that it rode like hell in rough water. felt like it was going to shake my rib cage loose.

You missed a couple. They were also put in '94-'96 Caprices as an option, and standard in the Impala SS (which was made from '94-'96). My tow vehicle is a '95 9C1 (cop car, in other words an Impala SS without the appearance package). No engine swap, so it must be a sports car. :-)
A link to it if you're interested-

(and my boat is on "photo2 page") :-)

I have a '93 MC Prostar 205 and it definitely has the corvette LT-1 engine in it. No problems so far.

Jeez, I can't believe I forgot to mention the LT1 was also standard on '94-'96 Roadmasters and Fleetwoods! :-)
