Three things helped me get this trick: First, I widened my stance a bit. You might not have a narrow stance, but, if you do (like I did), spreading out one hole might help. Second, I concentrated on spoting the landing. What really helped was looking for the foam on the second wake as I came around. Third, I focused on putting a bit more weight on my front foot (as compared to a regular backroll). When combined with a very progressive cut (e.g. I don't really put the board on edge until I'm 5' or so from the wake), helped me pop up as opposed to across. Good luck. JR
