I picked up a used Enzo a few months ago. The stereo has been nothing but a headache. I basically have replaced most of it now... new Sony marine deck, two new Sony RM-X55M remotes.

One of the original problems was that the old RM10 remote would work occasionally, but often the display would turn off - buttons would still work - but no display. There were several other problems - like the deck itself wouldn't play mp3 discs like it should, and so on.

So - we got new remotes, the 55's, and a new deck - the 60. All wired-up, deck plays everything just fine - but the remotes keep turning off for no good reason. The buttons work - volume goes up and down, etc. but the displays turn off and I can't figure out why or how to get them back on.

I feel like the display must be in a sleep mode, but there is nothing on the web or in the manual that explains it. Any ideas?

Update - yesterday it happened again. Went for almost 2hrs before it quit - but displays on both shut off then and the buttons kept working.
