polk db 650 speakers

looking at ordering 2 sets of these for the boat and was curious how they sound?i will be running them off my headunit 45x4,no external amp...

love them, i have 6 6x1/2 in boat and 6 6x9 on tower with a momo 10 in sub. sounds like you will be making a good value investment and you can always add as much power as you want later. but remember any system is only as good as its installation

I have them on my Bu and they put out. I also have a sub and two amps.

i have 4 of them in my car. they sound amazing. Crisp, actually do shake my mirror. the only downside is that it is powered by my new pioneer 22 x 4 watt cd player, and when i play them really loud, the highs are somewhat diminished and so are the lows. Again i think that could be a head unit problem.

should i add an external amp?...wont the factory wiring be suffecient.going to replace my stock clarions on a 94 nautique
