All the boats seem to come with the same options, I wrote this thread for the skiers choice thread but got no love, so here is my idea. I was on the lake today and I thought of an option that would set supra apart, and I would love to have. I think a hydraulic swim platform would be great. If you had a switch on the back to lower it 6-7 inches into the water, it would be great for kids. I am sure you could set it so the engine would not start until it was back up and possibly have a second control on the dash.

any thoughts

It would also be really good if you had a dog. I have to give my dog a little help getting back into the boat after she goes swimming because she can't crawl onto the swim deck.

It can be done, but overall cost would be too much for any boat manfacture to include it. The R&D would not be worth it to the bigger companies. There is a boat in the custom world that is new with a hydraulic panel that opens from the front of the bow to the beach for easy access on and off the boat. http://www.tridentboats.com/

Sounds like a good idea for small kids, edlerly , fat people, and dogs, but I just don't see it as something the companies would ever do. I expect more of the companies going to 2 speed transmitions first.

it would not that expensive, it is also a rather simple idea, for the amount we pay for other options i would easily pay for this one
