So I am trying to modify my existing Bimini to fit under the tower. I already cut a length off the main mounting legs and attached new SS mounts. They are flush right up against the first hinge. So the Bimini fits under the tower and speakers when setup with still enough room to stand. The problem I have is opening and lowering the Bimini. The tower legs has a taper inward so the Bimini is to wide to open and close. The only way I can do it is detach the Bimini main support legs, open it up, then reattaching the legs to the boat mounts. Then reversing the procedure to close. I'm looking for ideas on some way I can mod the Bimini so I can open and close it without having to detach the main support legs from the boat.

Does your bimini have telescoping legs? On mine I have to have my front legs in a low position to open, then once opened past the tower, can raise the bimini by telescoping the legs up higher.

I don't have telescoping legs. That is the only solution I can thing of is somehow making the front and middle legs be able to telescope up and down
