Ok, I have heard something about this. I finally got to use my new Proline handle and the darn thing sunk after 2 sets. I heard about a quick fix of something being sprayed (foam type) into the handle but I want to make sure I use something tried and true and not just guess at it. Thanks

My understanding is that the 10 models dont sink,

another idea is to make your own external handle floats with pipe insulation

I used great stuff foam and sprayed some into the bar/grip of the handle. Works well.

Or do what Jeremy said.

Yes, some of the 2008 or 09 LG's can sink. I've capped the 2010 bar so it can't fill w/ water and it's built w/ 7076-T6 aluminum = 25% lighter. I'm adding more hidden floats into the 2011 line so you don't need to wear a vest any longer.. ha..... just kidding. But not about the hidden floats..... Thanks - Casey

Just cut up one of those $1 floating noodle things and stick it in the handle. Worked great for mine

I have a LGS on order and hopefully here by Friday. I hear they don't sink and they look awesome too.

Yeah all the older ones sink... I've tried cutting up the noodles in mine, that helped a little but not enough, it still sank. I've had 3 of them and they all sink. I think I'm going to a different handle this year but I do love the feel of the LG.

LGS is the answer Stan...

Charles-Yeah I like the feel of the LGS but think I may actually stray away from the proline stuff for the first time. I'm probably going to go with a BennyG or Lyman straight line handle mainly because they have the diamond extension you can add to those handles, I want to work some wrapped stuff this year and don't like the proline pistol grips very much. We'll see maybe I'll be back next season to the LGS.
