I have been trying Tootsies and Dum Dums for a LONG time now! Everything looks perfect until the last quarter of the trick. I land with my feet toward the boat and my head away from the boat... like the opposite of the Raley. I used to do this really bad when I was learning crows, but I don't know what I did to correct the problem... it just corrected itself. Any help?

Thanks,
Marlon

Also... I am not passing the handle too low... I am passing in the small of my back, just above my butt.

Okay... one last thing... here is a sequence shot of one of my tootsie rolls. I had a late handle pass in this one, and I over rotated the flip, not something I am doing anymore. But you can see how I am coming down layed out.

Tootsie Sequence

I can tell you a couple of things based on this picture. You are leaning over too much as you are coming off the top of the wake. You are throwing the trick too much with the upper half of your body. You should have more of a bent neck instead of a bent waste. That will help you land more upright instead of laid out as you are. Number two is that you are two far into the flip before you start passing the rope. That should be the first thing you should be concentrating on. Also when you are coming off the wake you start rotating in the wrong direction because you are looking towards the boat instead of away from it. That means you start rotating one way and then have to fight to go the other way. At the midpoint of the trick you should already have your other hand on the rope and have your back to the boat while upside down. Also, concentrate on keeping the handle close to your body. It makes easier. I wish I had a sequence I could sho you.

you arnt staying square with the shore line when you throw the frontroll portion. you are starting off like a scarecrow then trying to pull bs 180. Throw the frontroll to the shoreline first then bs 180 and point you head in the direction of the spin.

Thanks for the help guys... I haven't gotten to try them so much lately due to tournament preparation, but I will get back on them soon!
