Anyone been to Union Valley Res. in Norcal

Up Highway 50 near Icehouse. I will be up there next weekend and was wondering how the lake is.

some friends of mine went last year. They liked it. Water was a little cooler I think.

More than a little cooler. It's colder than a witches *** in a brass bra. I used to camp up there as a kid... It's one cold mofo.

I was just up there last week. It wasn't that cold. My family goes up there every year. Water's glass in the morning and evening, and during the day you can usually find good water in one of the coves. You gotta watch out for big rocks near shore, though. It's a nice lake overall.
