Sad time of year for the boats. Mine is stored and will be tuning up snowmobiles this weekend. Hoping for a quick winter with my new 2013 waiting for spring!!

I just put my trailer on blocks to get my tires off the ground. Is that a good idea for storing for the winter?

Not a bad one for sure. Some guys I know block the trailer frame so it takes the pressure off the springs/torsion axles too. Just don't ever do it if you happen to transport the trailer on some sort of a flat bed. As the vibration going down the road kills the bearings with no load/pressure on them.

Yes....my dads boat sits on a sideways slope ove the winter...and it warped the tires one yr and we discovered it by having them blow out on the way to Austin one yr...he now blocks it up and he hasnthad any problems
