Seahorse underwriters 05 elite v c4 $308/yr for agreed value of 35k for boat and 2k for trailer. Havent made a claim yet but I have had to show the sheriff the proof of insurance....it worked! Cant speak for making a claim though. Hope I never will get to know them any better than them taking my money once a year..knock on wood.

There have been a ton of threads on this, but I use Boaters Insurance Agency.

Allstate for everything. House, Trucks, Boat and toys and also my supplemental health(IE AFLAC) In a profession that it's pretty much mandates a supplemental:-)

Have had nothing but great dealings with them in a few situations. There are a few that are cheaper but not by much.

The rest of my family uses Boat U.S.. Little pricey but a 5star company to deal with for sure.

Insured my VLX at 75k for $575 with boaters insurance. They give special deals to Malibu owners.

Ryan, interesting statement. In most states, probably all, that is called "rebating" and highly illegal for an Insurance Co and or Agent to do.

You may have gotten a good rate, hard to tell with out seeing limits, coverage, and exclusion, but every one in the door behind you got the same "special deal" as you, no matter what boat they own.
