Where to put this stuff ;x

We have a 1995 hurricane deckboat, it has a sony radio in it now with speakers thruout the boat. I know this won't increase teh sound quality but i wanted a cd palyer and a radio that worked right (tuning on the sony is messed up)

I have a kenwood 10 disc cd player, it has the main unit that goes in then a long cord goin to teh changer. I am thinkin bout locating this changer in the lil cuby hole where a porta potty would normally go, located right infront of the drivers seat.

Would this be O.K. all we put in here is life jackets, and we acn keep the wet ones out till dry.

also where should I put the amp? would it be ok to put the amp here also and jsut run the power up to teh incoming power? and well just hook it up with the rca jacks like normal, tho then I have all the speaker wires i have to reroute to the new location of the amp.

any suggestions welcomed,its a big boat tehres got to be a good place for all this !
