I agree, Danny has one hell of a set-up. After checking out the website... He's probably the only 19 year old that I'll ever look up to. Nice work Danny.

Here she is boys!

We should have the graphics on it by next week!

Heres a picture of the inside.

It was alot of work.

I pulled the boat with this truck today, to give the Harley the night off.

Nothing on here can beat the Izuzu though.

tie to the llRR.. the "truck" ute in our language is an SS commodore, 6speed ls1 v8. It is the truck version of the pontiac GTO, same from the front doors forward.

It's not as bling as some of you guys, but for being 25 it's not bad. Besides, this is one of the only boats I could fit in my garage! 02 Avalanche with 24's and 4 tvs, 05 maxum with monster tower, perfect pass, 600# ballast, and a killer stereo with defcon II's. We go out and kill it whenever we can and have a blast, even though it will be nice to upgrade in a few years once I move. These pics were taken at the pro tour wakefest in Kelowna last week. Funny thing was, for all the m/cs and bu's out there, only me and a few other guys with cheaper I/Os had boards on their racks and went riding after, all the wakeboard boats looked like they had never even seen a rope around that tower!

no offense but you should have spent more on your boat and less on your truck. the caddy is nice but im not a big fan of the maxum. by the looks of your truck it doesnt seem to me that you cant afford it :P

Lol.. true to you guys, but I drive my truck every day, I use my boat as much as I can, but still only 1-2 times a week. It's cold up here, we've had a crappy summer so far, and we only get maybe a 5 month season, 1/2 of that is with a wetsuit. I'm new to wakeboarding this year and this is my first boat. Besides, I couldn't fit anything else in my garage, and I wanted something I could afford to pay cash for. I just bought my house and boat in the same year so I couldn't bling a crazy new boat. Give me two years.. haha :-)
Old    tcboarder            07-13-2005, 10:51 PM Reply
dude if you woulda read the caption it said that his truck was an avalanche, and an avalanche with sum TVs and rims is still less money then a new wakeboat. and living in BC he can only use his boat a lil bit, a truck lasts year round. personaly if i was given his posistion id prolly choose the same thing, cuz id rather have a nice truck year round then drive a junker and have a nice wakeboat sittin in the garage during the long BC winters.

everybody else would too....don't get your panties in a bunch.

but if you wanna get technical, instead of paying cash for his maxum.....put 10% and have a world class wakeboarding boat and pay cash for his truck.

keep in mind

truck payment....$550+ a month

WCW Boat....after 10% down $300+ a month

Have your cake and eat it too! NICE TRUCK & WCW BOAT

Ya.. 10% down and end up paying close to double for a wakeboard boat. No thanks.. the only loan I ever took was my mortgage. Truck was paid for cash and so was the boat. When I have $50k saved up I'll buy my wakeboard boat. Besides, I didn't feel like spending 50k on something when I hadn't even wakeboarded before.

Stuey ~ You did what you thought was best and are doing good in my book,I was reffering to K-dub.Also on a $50k boat it comes close to $75k in 15 years not double, but since you want to get technical...15 years ago $50k was alot more then today and so it will be the same thing in 15 years $75k won't be as much as today plus I live for today.

Thanks for the props on the truck guys.

Im here at the Seattle airport waiting for next flight home, the first site I always go to is wakeworld. I went up to Canada and filmed the Roswell team video this year. Thats an awesome company. Check out roswellwakeair.com. They will have the new team video up on the site here in the next couple months.

As for (wakepirate) up at the top, if that was toward me, thats my parents barn . That was the old HYPOXIC OFFICE up until I moved into a real office. I like seeing everyones rides, so many cool ones. I like the topics that have a bunch of photos to look at like this one.

(Jessy) if that was to me. Yes I am single

(milehighrider) I dont know how you do it. Pulling all that. I'd be so nervous. We stayed on Lake Austin in Texas once and the guy next to us had a set up like yours. Just watching him leave the campgrounds made me nervous.

(ed) to my knowledge you don't, in colorado the limit is 70' for towing, the total length is about 68 or so. as for being nervous, just in the city, because you never know about the other idiots. but over all it pulls very well,as long as you stay around 70mph. you just have to be careful when you pull into a gas station that you can get out. (backing is not easy).

BBR, you must live in a pretty flat area eh? Otherwise, how do you not drag the tongue of your boat on every bump you hit? And how is your spare not rubbing on the ground?

JB- my truck has a full airbag suspension. When I'm ready to go, I just hit some switches and it raises up to ride height. Rides better than a Caddy.
In that picture, my front tires are resting on my front fenders, so they wouldn't move if you tried. I just drop it down when I park.

It only allows a certain # x #, and in order to resize your pics, open it with your paint program, then go to image, click sketch/skew, and resize it to the size it lets you.
