new board

so i am currently riding an 06 shane... next year i want to get a new board. i kinda want to try i new brand besides a liquid force. does anyone know what boards are simular to the shane in how it pops, landing, and how loose it is. (prefered brands would be like hyperlite or ronix).

why does brand matter?
its not like each company only has one shape.
also why do you want a board just like the shane but a different brand? would the name ronix on it make you better?

I am going to agree with mitch on this one as much as i love hyperlite gear i am thinking if you want a board that rides like the shane and want a new board then maybe look at the 08 shane??? That is the only board that will feel the same as the shane

If you like that Shane you'll definitely like the Obrien Natural. I went from the Shane in 06 to the Natural in 07. I liked the shane, but love the natural. It rides similar to the shane just faster.

i would go with the shane 08 but liquid force boards seem to delaminate and i want a board that can last awhile.

While I haven't ridden the Shane I can say that the O'Brien Natural is incredible. If there's any way you can demo it go for it. I've had my 06 since 06 and it has held up with no problems whatsoever. Everyone who has ridden it has been amazed by it.

I would say to test ride some boards, the new ronix stuff just looks so sick. I ride the one and it's my favorite board out of the gator skin, hyperlite era, hyperlite byerly. not too much expirience, but out of those few, the one deffinatley stands out. I'd look at the one, covin, mana, and frontier, and see what the DHV1/CSV1 is all about, waste of money or what, I'm not sure.

i would test some but there isnt a pro shop that does that where i am at.
