want a bigger wake HEELP 07lsv

cmon guys help me out.. i have moomba lsv 07 it came with the stock ballast system wich is the front walkway bag and the two bags in the back by the V drive .. i just bought a 275 lbs sac and one big sac 700lbs that has the shape like the bow.

i have move around the ballast trying to find a bigger wake but no results..

what do i need to do? in what part of the boat should i place this two fat sacs that i bought?
do i need more weight in the back or in the front??

im not sure but i think the stock ballast is 400 for the one in the front and 275 each in the rear

is your stack ballast hard tanks or bags?

either way.... take them out.

use you walkway bag plumming to fill empty the 700lbs sac under the bow and also the walkway one.

then get ~500lbs sacs on each side of the engine... if you're feeling ballsy get the 700lbs ones back there.

just take them all out, put WAY bigger ones in.... but most importantly the back ones while adding a big one in the bow

I had an 07 LSV. Best setup we found was putting two fly high 750's in the rear lockers and taking the two 400's and stacking them in the walkway. Fill the factory 400 in the front locker, then one of the original 400's on top of that one in the walkway, and then the other 400 on top of that all the way up to the nose of the bow.

That was how I did it and the wake was great, but could still use a little more in the bow. In your case, I would fill your 700 in the bow, the stock front 400, and one of the original 400's from the rear in the walkway over the stock front. Get the 750's for the rear, and add the other 400 to the front as needed, if needed. You will need to ride about 23-25mph but the wake gets giant. You will also NEED the wakeboard prop.

I have the 08 lsv and plan on doing what Nick said this spring, but in the past, I've done the 1200 stock ballast, a 400 in the walkway, and a 400 in front of the rear seat, that setup worked well for me, I hear weight in the front helps...
playing with the wake plate will also change the shape up

If you bought the 700l that fits under the bow seats it will only fill to about 400 which will give you 800 up front. Then I would swap the 400 in the back with 650's long bags which helps move more weight forward. Thats 2100 total.

If you got the triangle 700 lb bag the lays on top of the seats I would swap the 750's in the rear for a total of 2600

You should reprop to get better fuel consumption

You can get 750 pound fly high sacs for both back compartments that will hook up to your existing hoses. It literally takes 2 minutes to switch it out.

thanks this has been real helpful where i live nobody wakeboards so i dont really have anyone to ask stuff..

im goin to get two 750lbs for the rear..and move the 2 existing 400lbs foward to the center of the boat beneath the seats ... and in the front fill the front stock sac which is 400 and the 700lbs that goes beneath the seats...

what do you guys think?

and i also had my prop fixed .it was a bit broken since i hit something.. is that afecting the wake?

Call these guys in regards to a new prop. www.boarditup.com I also have an 07' Moomba LSV. I had called them and told them my problem and what the boat was doing and how much weight was it it. He told me that I needed a certain prop pitch and size. I can tell you this, the prop is awesome for wakeboarding, surfing, and skiing. When wakeboarding, I have 800lb in the rear and 400lbs in the center with wakeplate at 100%. When surfing, on the surf side, I have 800lbs and 650lbs up front. My friend compares my wake with his wake on his Malibu 23'LSV.

Be careful when you swap the 750's in, the fill hose isn't long enough to reach when you get that thing filled all the way. I extended my hose after one of my 90's into the bag broke. I agree with everyone else, front needs some serious weight, also with weight in the front be careful not to swamp the nose

I put 750's in mine. All i had to do was swap the hoses around on the manifold to get the hoses to reach.

If I put the 750's in, could I shorten the hose and fill it from the front? any problem with that?
