New Inboard owner help..

This is my 1st inboard boat I have owned. Its a 2002 Moomba Outback. What do you usually bring on board in case of teh engine not starting. I have seen pople spray stuff onteh engine to start it and such. Any ideas of what necessary items you carry on yoru boat please list

I carry basic tools, digital multimeter and an extra impeller. In the non-tangible bag you need creativity. Oh and don't forget a light and a cell phone

Items like steve said above. The stuff you see people spraying on their engines to start it is carb cleaner. They are spraying it in their carb so that when the key it turned, it will ignite and hopefully start burning the gas. People only need to do this if the engine is not starting after they have tried choking it.

I tend to keep a pair of googles in my boat too just incase i need to check out the prop or rudder.

basic tools such as small socket set, a few screw drivers, adjustable wrench, spare impeller.
flash light, small mirror for looking under and around corners, a sharp knife.
scuba mask has saved me more than once when 30' of rope gets wrapped around prop shaft.
DVOM or test light.
those portable jump batteries are awesome to carry on a boat.

I carry the jump pack...we use it for the XM roady too. I keep a quart of oil, multimeter, bottle opener (for when you're really stuck and have nothing but coronas on board), a crescent wrench, allen wrenches, a gerber tool, and I can't remember the size but it's the nutdriver that fits all the clamps.

Nutdriver would be 8mm or 5/16 for hose clamps.

when there engine doesnt start they dont use carb cleaner, they use staring fluid, there 2 different things

Duct tape, zip ties, WD40

If it moves and shouldn't-Duct tape

Don't forget an oar or two so you can paddle when all else fails.

Believe me when I tell you paddling using wakeboards is hard.

I carry a small all-in-one toolkit, a battery pack jump starter, and an oar. Use to carry jumper cables but the jump starter has replaced that.
