congrats! toeside can be a real pain in the butt for some. it's a great feeling to finally land something that you have worked so hard for.

toeside really freaks me out for some reason.. I have no confidence at all to even try it.. I usually save my toeside side for surface tricks and "wake slides" and then move right over to my backside..

I landed toeside w2w for the first time and then broke my leg and arm 2 days later. Haven't landed it since. (Not wakeboarding at work.)

make sure you give yourself a good amount of space to cut into the wake. start to roll over slow and when you get to the boat wash (the wash like 5 feet from the wake) give it a good hard edge all the way up the wake. works every time

I have finally got my TS w2w consistently... I took some advice I have read on this discussion about handle placement. I would always read "put the handle at your front hip..." and found that this helps tremendously both body position and the ability to cut harder. I exaggerate that handle position by moving the handle farther towards my heelside, against my hip. I am regular, so the right end of the handle is against my hip bone. If that makes any sense... anyhow, it works for me and allows me to generate a lot of speed.

this year, my TS is just as consistent as HS. I think most people mistake leaning down the rope for leaning over your toes. I wasn't building any line tension, just edging in. At least, thats what worked for me.

Sean, what speed and rope length were you riding? My son is riding 20mph at 70 feet and is hitting just inside the 2nd wake or casing it.

somewhere between 20 and 22 and 70ft behind a 91 hydrodyne, i dont know much else except handle at front hip and edge all the way through the wake, thats what everyone told me. Im no expert though

how r u supposed to land toeside. i got my toeside w2w but im really inconsistent on the landings. people always talk about how to go in toeside, but not how to land properly. btw thats sick, i remember the first time i landed toeside w2w, it felt sick. it still does, even though im inconsistent! i had been riding at about 20mph and sped up to 21 or 22...it feels less controllable, but after you get used to it, it requires less work to get across the wake.
