Had the alternator rebuilt yesterday, and made the unfortunate assumption that I would remember exactly which wire was which when I got it back. I've two of the wires nailed down the unfortunate part is the third wire.

The alternator is a Motorola. The positive terminal goes to a shielded terminal on the alternator. There is a second wire that has a plastic clip. The third wire (which is grey) is the one I'm confused on. Anybody offer up a wiring diagram or some advice

Ryan,
The wire with the clip should be your regulator/excite wire and it should connect to a wire that will run to the ignition circuit.
