When trying the 180 and 360 should you have fins on your board? If you do what size and how many?

Looks like Kit has a Broadcast. The fins on the boardcast are maybe 3 to 4 inches. Kit the next time I ride I plan to remove the center fin on my Broadcast to see if the board loosens up any.

I also have a Trick Boardz Mojo. The Mojo is a symmetrical board. I'm going to take off one of the fins so when I start I can chose to start with a fin in the back or not. The Mojo is already pretty lose compared to a Broadcast, it will be interesting to see how it rides with out a fin.

Entrust!!!! You retired that LF board?! :-)

You can spin a surface three with any depth fins. Check this article:

The key with deeper fins is to break them loose, otherwise you just track a big circle and typically spin out the back.

This is James in the middle of his surface 3, he rides with 3.5" fins.

I use to ride exclusively without fins and it does makes tricks like shuvits and switch stuff easier but IMO surface 360s are easier with fins.

How tight a circle will those Walzer's turn? I know for me, recovering at the bottom of a 3 is easier with fins...I tend to over-rotate wind up doing a 400 :-)
