I have seen John ride a few times at OWC and he kills it. I'm hoping I am able to still do tricks and enjoy wakeboarding at his age. Nice job, keep shredding John!!!!

John's the man. I've had the pleasure of riding with him. Somewhere I have a picture of he and I putting back a couple of beers on the bench in the parking lot of OWC. I hope I can rip like him when I'm all grown up. :-)

Hope all is well John! Glad to see that you're still ripping.

Mark, I started on the wakeboard around 1994. I've done trick, barefoot, and slalom since college up until I started wakeboarding. They're all awesome but wakeboarding has been my favorite almost since I started. If surfing can have old dudes, why not wakeboarding?

Hey Jarrod, I saved that pic too.

Nice!!! Good times. We need to get back out there.

I must have been really thirsty; never stopped to take my vest off.

Hey Robert, Looking forward to it. I'm 55, so we aren't that far apart. Heading over to check out the "1st set of the year thread" now.

Jeremy... definitely, if your dad has been skiing for years, there is no reason why he can't wakeboard.

I hope pick up the Raley this year. OWC installed a Sesitec cable and I was able to throw a Raley on it. Now I just need to make the transition. But there's a big difference between the 2.0 and the regular cable.

Props John. I remember looking at your profile pic years ago and giving you props then and now this...... AWESOME. FYI---- I showed your video to both of my kids (2 and 9) last night and my daughter said.... "he looks like an old Grandpa but can rider better than any of our crew" LOL Keep it up man.

John Anderson, I'm so stoked that you and so many others like the video. I just got a gopro. Once I figure out how to use it we should do another video shoot. See you around man.
