I was out yesterday for the first time. Everything was great PP holding fine until 3 or 4th set.. then not holding at all and then even worse... with throttle all the way down... only get 5mph.... uhoh... well traced it to PP of course.. noticed knob not turned tight... so tightened it.. then had someone push throttle forward.. noticed knob unwinding and cable extending with throttle mvmt.. well.. instead of a flat edge on on inside of the servo knob it is all round and there is a set screw..very small one.. that keeps it in place.. well mine fell into the bilge... still cant find it.. moral - check your set screw.. make sure its tight and maybe a little loctight... the fix... well I had a guy named Joe Macguyver... his Idea to use 3 zip ties.. one on each side of linkage and another holding those 2 together.. voila.. throttle response back to normal.. but no PP we kept going 3 more hrs.... Just a heads up for everyone with PP... keep some 5-6 inch zipties maybe some big ones too for hose clamp / ballast hose leaks...in glove box... never know when...calling PP tomorrow for replacement screw..
