Does anyone know a source for this? I've looked at irrigation supply companies, but the only non restrictive ones are 24 volt.
What brand is the one use in the "Download by rival" System?

Hey Jamie, have you checked out the FlowRite valves? Non-restrictive, remote mechanical and not real pricey. I was looking for an electric 3-way valve to no avail, but these River Download dudes got a nice setup. Maybe they would sell you a piece of the system. I'd prefer Rule 1100s over the cartridge pumps, but you know...Flow-Rites seemed to be the cool way to go.

BTW, check out: http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/65693.html

He discusses the valve and mentions he'd piece out the system.

Derek,
Thanks a ton. Exactly the info I was looking for. I emailed Terry at Rival.
I looked at the flow-rites, but I want it to be fully automatic. With the flow-rites I'd have to open the valve with one switch and then turn on the pump with another.
I am using the Rule 1100's, by the way.

Rival uses a 12vdc RV dump valve. I found them on line for 99$. Not cheap but 1.5 in, you only need one for watertight integrity.

Pete, that's a good price if it can hang with the pressure from that scoop jobbie.

Jamie, I figured the coolest way to do it was do switches mounted to the valves. This way, the actuation is mechanical all the way back to the pumps, but the pump is (sort of) automatic. Open the fill valve, the fill pump(s) come on; close that and open the drain valve and the empty pumps start up. You could even wire up some LEDs at the handle actuators to indicate the pumps are at least energized.

With enough time, patience and help, you could rig up some real cool stuff like flow switches that'll shut off the pumps when full or empty.

Pressure ain't a problem, it is a factor, a FACTOR dammit, (picture hot and sweaty fat people in Ga.) It's a factor.
One thing is for sure, pressure ain't a problem.

Here is a 12 volt full flow ball valve. Made for agriculture spray applications. This one is made by Spraying Systems Co. Somewhere around $100 dollars.

Why does Pete always get the "nice boat, dude" responses? Must be the dog. If I posted that profile pic, someone would say, "dude, get your boat cover off the ground".
