Who had done the most for the sport??

Us riders... Without us, there would be no reason/money/drive/vision for wake boats, board companies, pro riders, events, websites, board shops, or video production companies. Wakeboarding would be where kneeboarding is today if it hadn't been for us. So here's to every rider out there who's never been looked at by a sponsor, but does more for our sport than any sponsored rider!

FWIW - I have always been impressed with Timmys posts here, nothing I have seen here lends credibility to the name calling. There are a few people on here who qualify as Home Depot material, Timmy is not one of them.

Since this thread seems to see a lot of knowledgable people about our sport, I have a quick question: Who invented the double up?

Rob Shirley? Red Sovine? Walt Meloon?

Tackleberry, I appreciate the support, but I will admit I was egging him on a little, based on prior discussion in another post.

As for the double up, I have no clue, but it seems like someone with surfing experience would be a likely candidate, as something similar occurs at some breaks

I've gotta go with Anodyne, without normal riders nothing else would of had a chance.
