Jason- Because of the boat traffic and wind, you usually need to go out a bit to find good water. However, if you launch out of Hemmingway Harbor (where Las Vegas Bay Marina was recently relocated) you can usually find some good water up against the cliff just south and east of the ramp. This is the closest decent water you can ususally find. I only go there when we ride during the week. Don't know what the traffic is like on the weekends. On weekends, we launch out of Calville and head up through the Narrows to the upper basin. From there it is a crap shoot depending upon the wind direction. For the most part you will not see a whole lot of riders on Mead. Lake is SO big that everybody gets pretty spread out. I have a blue and gray wakesetter. Look for me or hit me with an E mail and perhaps we can hook up. Dave
