Today I tried out my new Liquid Force Team LE bindings(05's), and I have to say they were really uncomfortable. I wish I could have tried these on before I bought them. The thing is that feel pretty good until I get on the water, after the first wake jump, they seem to re-adjust themselves and pinch the front of my lower leg just above and around the ankle. I tried tightening them up, then loosen, no difference. I don't know if I should give them time to break in, or switch back to the Parks' that I've loved for the last 3 years. I've never been so bummed out when I was at the lake before, especially with the perfect water conditions we had today. I have done quite a bit of research and it seems like everyone else is pretty happy with them. I guess this is another lesson learned... Try before you buy, or stay with what you know and like.

it might be not so bad the teams are highly customizable you can shape them and whatnot....im not too sure how this affects warranty tho so check into it....your most likely having a hard time because you went from a boot that is rather easy to poke around in.....to a couple of bricks...the teams are very solid.....i was the same way when i 1st got my temets....

I bought my LE transits a few weeks ago and used them at powell for four days. I was a non believer of lace ups - a true ultra suc fan. My new transits are so comfy I never once thought about my bindings while riding. I will never go back to the ultras.

oo come on now give them a chance! if you remember it took me a few rides to like my bindings.. i put my old ones on last weekend just for kicks and couldnt believe i ever even rode with them..you got to at least ride them a few more times before you give up on them.. i know it sucks trying to get used to something new when the whole dang lake is butta from one end to the other.. those delta trips were fun last month but you got to love it when your back yard is glass all day and were the only boat out! o yeah it was 88 again today..since you got your new board lets take a day off so you can try it out.. maybe those LF bindings work better on a LF board

Kellan... how do I go about shaping them? I'm thinking that I might have to take some sissors or maybe shears and cut the edges of the front ankle support. I have skinny ankles, and it seems like this is the area where they are "bunching" up, and pinching my ankles. I'll do a search for anyone else who has done some customizing to the Teams.

Richard...I'll bet your right...They will probably be perfect when I screw them on the new substance. If not, I'll switch back to the Parks until winter comes, then I'll break in the Teams. Bindings are kind of like YOUR women...its fun to try new ones, but if they are no good, you always have to have that one to fall back on

I think LF bindings quality control team sucks. I bought a pair of LF Teams and i could barely get my feet in. So i sold those and got me a pair of 05 LF Transits LE and the left binding was numbing my left 2 small toes after like 5 minutes of riding. You can compare the openings where your toes come out and see that one has a bigger opening and one has a very small opening. So i exchanged those and got me another pair and rode on them the next day and that pair was doing the same thing only now its on the right foot and there was a 2" tear where the material meets the base plate. So i brought those back and got me another pair(3rd) and now these are perfect. I once too was a Hyperlite fan and had the Parks bindings but i think the LF Transits LE are awesome and i still havent got ejected out of them yet.

Mark your exactly right... the right binding feels pretty good, but the left side is the one that hurts. I thought it might just be a left foot foward thing. My left foot also went numb in less than ten minutes. I have never had a foot go numb in any binding other than in cold water.

Yeah my friend with '05 Transits complained about his left binding being really tight. I think they screwed up on the new '05 line with quality control. From what I hear almost all of the regular sphynx bindings are ripping and they are replacing them with with LEs. You don't have to do anything to break the bindings in. As you wear them they will form to your foot. If you want to speed the process along you can warm up a bath and put them on in the bathtub. The heat will help it conform to your foot.

You can also loosen the bindings. My friend did that and he said they felt a lot better.

Man, I must have been lucky. I have a pair of 04 Transits that have a bunch of time on them, and 05 Transit LE's that I have been using for a few months. Both fit like a glove, and no rips on either of them.
